Dolly is a 3yr old female Dalmatian weighing approx 46lbs. Dolly and her 10 unborn puppies were rescued from a high kill shelter in Alabama. It was shortly after getting her into a temporary Alabama foster home that she gave birth to her pups. At 8 weeks the pups made their way to Wisconsin but sadly Dolly had to stay behind for heartworm treatment. After her treatment and final veterinary check Dolly made her way to Wisconsin. Dolly has been in her Wisconsin foster home and has made a full recovery. She is very healthy and strong and ready for her forever home. Dolly does have a strong prey drive for small animals so a home without small animals is a must. Dolly also requires a home without other dogs. She wants to be your queen bee and the apple of your eye. She is very good with older children but can be fearful of men when first meeting them until she learns they wont hurt her. Dolly is housetrained but does not like crates. Her perfect home would be an active home with room to run and play. Dolly has been through a lot in her first three years-but whoever meets her falls in love with her. Her vet has stated over and over what a sweetheart she is when she visits. She is playful and gentle and has a heart of gold. She is ready to meet her forever home.
