Welcome Linus and Franklin to Lucky Dog Rescue!!! They are currently about 8 weeks old and our best guess is they are Corgi mixes. Bernard mix puppy weighing 15lbs. It’s very likely that they will be 25lbs or less as adults. Linus and Franklin will be arriving from our partner shelter in Texas the week after Memorial Day. In Texas, they were born on a property and were not wanted. The owner called the shelter to have the puppies picked but before they could get there sadly two wandered off and passed away. The two remaining boys, Linus and Franklin are now in a safe and loving foster home where they are receiving vet care before they come to Wisconsin. Both Linus and Franklin are very sweet, quiet and laid back puppies. They do enjoy playing and wrestling with each other and are following their foster mom around. They are curious but also cautious. Over the next week before they head to Lucky Dog, their foster mom will work with them on coming when called, housetraining and cratetraining. The boys do well with other dogs, cats and kids!! We do not wish the puppies stay together as we would rather have them bond to their people instead of each other. Linus and Franklin are very smart puppies and are eager to please. When they arrive in Wisconsin it is our wish that Linus and Franklin have potential adopters waiting for them. For this reason we will be taking a deposit (Half of the adoption fee) to hold the puppies until their families can come and meet them. If for some reason they decide not to adopt we will refund the deposit but at least this way no one loses out especially Linus and Franklin! Each boy’s adoption fee includes all vaccinations (dhlpp x3, rabies and bordetella), microchip with lifetime registration to the rescue, flea/tick prevention, neuter, deworming, fecal test, full health exam, health certificate, 6 months of heartworm prevention, collar, harness, leash and premium puppy food to get her started in her new home.
